Resident®, a house of digitally native brands in the mattress and home goods market, today announced the official opening of its first-ever manufacturing facility in Jeffersonville, Indiana: Resident Mattress Manufactory (ReMM).
The opening of ReMM brings a state-of-the-art facility to the region enhancing the leading mattress and home goods company’s production, innovation and research and development efforts. ReMM is now manufacturing Resident mattress brands like Nectar® and DreamCloud® in Jeffersonville in its first vertical integration operation.
The project included investments for land, building and improvements, as well as new machinery and equipment. The facility provides approximately 300,000 square feet of manufacturing, distribution and office space. With this project, Resident is proud to contribute to continued economic growth of the region bringing 100 new manufacturing and technical job opportunities to the Jeffersonville area.
Resident has partnered with the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC) to launch its facility and looks forward to continuing to work with IEDC as it grows its operations.
