Hi! We're Melissa + Kate and we are the faces behind Eighth and Walnut. We are sisters who have always shared a dream of starting a business together, and when Melissa moved back home this past summer, we decided now was the time! We've dabbled in design for years, whether that be building and designing our new homes (6 homes between us in the last 10 years!), or helping friends and family design and decorate their own. We now run @EighthandWalnut on Instagram, which follows along as we DIY/design/decorate our current homes and lake house.
